We collect your email address, username, and profile information when you create an account via Clerk. We collect payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card or account details). We collect trade history including items bought and sold, transaction amounts, and timestamps. We collect your Roblox username, which is shown to the other person in an order so items can be sent. If you choose to add them, we collect your country and a mobile number for sale alerts by text. If you withdraw money, we collect the payout details that method needs — for example your name and bank details, a PayPal email, or for an international transfer your name, address, phone number and account details. We collect basic usage data such as pages visited and actions taken on the platform, and your IP address and a device identifier, which we use to prevent fraud and duplicate accounts.
We use your data to operate the platform and process transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our terms, send you important notifications about your trades, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
We use Clerk for authentication and user management. We use Stripe for payment processing; seller payouts are made by bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Remitly, crypto (USDC) or Roblox gift card. Payouts are sent using the provider for the method you choose (your bank, PayPal, Wise or Remitly), which receives the details needed to pay you. We use Supabase to store listing and trade data, Vercel to host the site, Resend to send emails and, if you add a mobile number, Twilio to send texts. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and handles your data in accordance with UK GDPR.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trade records are retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing petflipmarket@gmail.com.
